Choosing your water color and finish!
There are many factors that determine the water of your pool. The size of your pool, the shape of your pool, the depth of your pool, the backyard surroundings, the landscaping, the amount of sunlight. All of these factor in determining the water color of the pool. What color water are you looking for? Blue water we would need a grey, white, black, or blue. Green finish you would need green, brown, red, or tan. The shape of you pool, and the depth of your pool also effect the water color. In areas like steps or sun benches where it is shallow the water is crystal clear then you will only see the finish. Water really comes to life with depth and water movement. If you have a water feature it will create movement in the water. the movement in the water, and exposure to the sun it will create light prisms. As the water movement moves in the pool you will see the color of the pool change. This is what we call living water. Your water color is also effected by sunlight moving off of your home, and the landscaping.
